About Our Products
What is the difference between Kanaka and Spertaya coffee pots?
Both are traditional Egyptian coffee makers, but they have different designs and brewing characteristics. The Kanaka is the classic Egyptian coffee pot with a distinctive shape, while the Spertaya offers an elegant alternative. Both produce authentic Egyptian coffee when used properly.
What do "Standard" and "Royal" styles mean?
Standard and Royal refer to the design and finish of the coffee pots. Royal styles typically feature more ornate detailing and premium finishes, while Standard styles offer the same authentic functionality with a simpler aesthetic.
What does the number of flames mean?
The flame designation (Single Flame, 2 Flames, 3 Flames, 4 Flames) refers to the size and capacity of the coffee pot. More flames generally means a larger pot that can brew more coffee at once. Choose based on how many cups you typically prepare.
Are these coffee pots suitable for all stovetops?
Our traditional coffee pots work best on gas stovetops. Please check the product description for specific compatibility information, or contact us if you have questions about using them on electric or induction stovetops.

Care & Maintenance
How do I clean my Egyptian coffee pot?
Hand wash your coffee pot with warm water and mild soap. Avoid abrasive cleaners that could damage the finish. Dry thoroughly after each use to maintain its beauty and longevity.
How do I make authentic Egyptian coffee?
Traditional Egyptian coffee is made by combining finely ground coffee, water, and sugar (optional) in the pot. Heat slowly over low flame, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat just before it boils over. The key is patience and attention!

We recommend hand washing only to preserve the quality and finish of your traditional coffee pot.
